About

FeedBackApp start as idea around 2011, from personal wahala: Jesus no too sabi write meeting minutes well well. E dey lead some big projects, and dem dey expect am to send di so-called “meeting minutes” wit summary of di conversations and action points. For dat time, people dey really read dose minutes, and sometimes e go come back: “Na dis kain thing I mean…”, or worse, “I never talk dat one”. After every meeting e go spend hours dey re-write and dey reconstruct one “politically correct” version of who talk wetin, which decisions dem don make, and wetin everybody gree to do. E be tedious manual work. E dey shout for automation.

Di first idea dey very simple: di app suppose capture conversations sentence by sentence, and for di end di participants go gree on di “decisions” and “action points”. Den everybody go receive dia meeting minutes by email, wit clear action points. For years we try build am plenty times, wit IBM Watson among others, but di technology never really sweet. Speech recognition too dey miss, and to collect di spoken words sentence by sentence na nightmare. Add corporate environment wey full of international people and plenty different accents, and e no ever turn real product.

November 2022 change everything. OpenAI and ChatGPT carry speech-to-text go next level and make am available to everybody. Di new large language models (LLMs), wit GenAI-assisted software development, di so-called “Vibe Coding”, term wey OpenAI co-founder and computer scientist Andrej Karpathy popularize for February 2025, don reduce di time and effort wey e dey take to build software well well. Small team fit now achieve for weeks wetin big teams wit plenty specialized roles dey need years to do before.

FeedBackApp na di result of dat journey. E start as way to solve personal meeting-minutes wahala and e don grow turn something bigger: one platform wey dey capture spoken words and dey help people see which ideas dey land and which one no dey.

We be small operation wey dey based for Berlin.
